Shoot for the Moon

Today was just like any ordinary days, except for the part where I learned something new about driving today. I learned about reversing, and how to drive and stop in a sloppy area. It was pretty fun, I would say.

I am pretty much looking forward for tomorrow, as my mum did promised me to let me drive her car to my aunt's house. Wow, pretty fun huh? Let's hope there won't be many cars on the road tomorrow.

"Shoot for the moon. Even if you fall, you'll land among the stars." This is quite important in our lives. Of course, we would never be satisfied with what we have now as we always chase for the most perfect things in this world. Let's take an example, a smartphone for instance. You've just bought a new phone for yourself, as your old phone sucks. However, when you open the newspaper the next day, you saw a news that a new phone had just released. How do you feel? I bet, you felt stupid for buying a new phone so fast, am I right? But, why feel such a way? Whether is it a new phone or a latest model of phone, it is still a phone and as long as it could perform its function, that's enough.

Yes, it's true that a person's aim should always high, but at least make it an appropriate aim. Make sure when you finally could achieve what you've aim for this long, you're satisfied with whatever the result is! Always remember, don't ever cry over a split milk. As for myself, my current aim would be, get a pass in my driving as fast as possible, and I could go anywhere that I would like to!

Lived

This blog was dead for a year, maybe? Or maybe it was dead a long time ago. Once I've decided to make this blog alive again, the blog changed. Or, maybe I should say, it's me who had changed. When the time is here, I really do believe that people changes. Pain always does a little bit of change to that person in hurt. And that person is me.

I am officially 18, this year. It was an age that I hope I gain most presents and wishes from my friends and family. But, it wasn't like how I thought it would be. However, as my age increases, I realize that sometimes friends are not all you have. Not even family. What matters the most, you have got your own back. No matter how bad the fall you had before this, all you have to do is get back up. Get back up and be a better and stronger person, and not the old person you are before this.

"It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves." This piece of quote really have the meaning. Even the biggest and strongest enemy in the world, is not whom you think you should beat among your friends. But, it is YOU! If you enter in a competition, whatever competition it could be, and the result turns out to be, you're just a loser in the competition but hey, don't give up! Because why? Because, as long as you think you've beat your own self, that's all matters! Remember, you are the enemy to yourself, no one else.
